Cipher News is a niche publication focusing on topics within the climate tech sector, including wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal, and hydrogen energy. Written from the unique perspectives of a diverse group of journalists, editors, and guest writers from around the world.
Photography
I joined the Cipher team in 2024 during Climate Week, where I collaborated with the Art Director to shoot and edit the team's official headshots. In addition to photography, I create custom graphics that enhance Cipher’s social media and event presence, helping to visually amplify their climate journalism.
I worked with Cipher as a multimedia designer and illustrator, producing motion graphics, illustrations, and photography for their social media and editorial content.
I had the exciting challenge of striking a balance between unique content and recognizable themes. Every time I sit down to create, I ask myself how I can present these topics in a way that feels familiar to our existing viewers while also being accessible to those who may not be as knowledgeable about the subject. I aim to deliver something that keeps our current readers engaged, encouraging them to return, while also making it easy for new readers to quickly grasp the concepts and become part of our community. Ultimately, I want our content to be unique, enjoyable, and spark the imagination viewers.
